01The cost nobody counts

A gank that produces no summoner spell and no kill still costs you the camp respawn timing and the level lead that decides the next skirmish. Ganking is not free just because it failed cheaply.

02When the gank is correct

Only when the lane already has a reason to fight: a pushed wave, a spent escape, or a health lead your arrival converts. Arriving into a neutral lane with a full-health opponent is a coin flip you paid for.

03Tempo is a real win condition

Full clears into an objective contest put you at the pit first with a level lead. That is a repeatable advantage; a coin-flip gank is not.
